Spring Date Ideas

0

As the nice weather returns, show your love a good time with some unique date ideas. Here are just a few.

Yellow Tulips

Art Festival
The warmer weather encourages artists to display their work out of doors. Many museums and local fairs will set up artwork, pottery, and other creative pieces outdoors.

Walk in the Park
Grab a sweater, a sunny trail, and head off on a walk through your local park. Enjoy the beauty of nature as you walk hand in hand with your sweetie.

Matinee Movie
Not all the dates you have need to be outdoors. After all, spring is the time of unpredictable weather. There’s nothing better on a rainy day than seeing a movie in the afternoon. Don’t forget the popcorn.

Arcade
Grab some change and pretend you’re a kid again with an afternoon at the arcade. Make a bet with your date to see who can get a higher score on your favorite game.

Flea Market
Swap meets and flea markets are a great way to spend time with your date. Just be sure to wear good shoes and layers of clothing to deal with the spring temperatures.

A Day at the Ballpark
America’s pastime returns with the change of weather. Many cities throughout the country have their own national teams. Enjoy an afternoon in the sun with a hot dog and a beer for a laid back day with your date.

Green Up the Yard
You don’t have to be married to enjoy a trip to the garden center. If you love flowers and want to spruce up your window box or backyard, grab your date and spend a day looking for just the right seeds and greenery.

Frisbee Golf
If you’re not a golf enthusiast, yet still enjoy being out on the course; Frisbee golf could be the right sport for you. Golf courses reopen in spring, often with both standard and Frisbee golf leagues as a way to join in the fun.

Attend a Run/Walk
Show your passion while you keep fit with a run or walk to benefit your favorite charity. Your date will get to see a new side to your personality, and it will naturally generate new ideas for conversation.

Farmer’s Market
Almost every major city hosts a farmer’s market, usually once a week. Markets are a great date activity because they offer a plentitude of people to see and things to talk about. Even if you don’t buy anything, it’s a nice way to spend a short morning. Check your local paper for the times in your area.
These are just a few ideas to spark your own creativity. Combine a few from the list to make a special date your partner won’t forget.
